1. Bugatti Veyron Pur Sang

With only five manufactured models in the world, the Bugatti Veyron Pur Sang is one of the costliest luxury cars in the world which is priced at $3.8 million dollars. It has a high-gloss bronze road wheels with a diamond-cut glass-like finish and a clear body finish. It was first introduced in the Frankfurt Motor Show on September 11, 2007. Its top speed is recorded at 250 miles per hour.





2. Enzo Ferrari

Named after the company’s founder, Enzo Ferrari was among the “top sports car of the 2000s” by American Magazine Sports Car International in 2004. It was first introduced in the Paris Motor Show in 2002 with designer Ken Okuyama using formula one technology. It can run as fast as 186 miles per hour and its V12 engine is the first of the new generation of Ferrari. In 2002, it has a limited production run of 349 and is priced at about $660,000.




3. Lamborghini Reventon

Lamborghini Reventon is the most expensive Lamborghini to date at $1.5 million dollars. Debuting in the Frankfurt Road Show in 2007, there are only 20 of its kind all over the world. With blinding speed of over 220 miles per hour, this car’s exterior design was said to be inspired by the world’s fastest airplanes.







4. Leblanc Mirabeau

From Swiss car manufacturing company LeBlanc is a car that can speed up to over 230 miles per hour, the Leblanc Mirabeau. Priced at almost $800,000, the Leblanc Mirabeau is a high-performance car with a good racetrack performance with a 700 horsepower engine.











5. Shelby Supercars Ultimate Aero

Being once held as fastest car in the world by the Guinness Book of World Records, the SSC Ultimate Aero runs at 256.19 miles per hour. Together with the other Supercars, the Ultimate Aero was a brainchild of Jerod Shelby. It is priced at $650,000.








6. Pagani Zonda

Manufactured in Italy, the Pagani Zonda debuted in 1999 and ended production in 2011. With a maximum speed of 215 miles per hour, it is mostly made up of carbon fiber with its aerodynamic design similar to that of the F16 aircraft. Its earliest models were engineered by Formula One Champion Juan Manuel Fangio who died in 1995. The automobile comes to you at around $660,000.






7. Koenigsegg CCX

One of the top 10 most beautiful cars according to Forbes Magazine, the Koenigsegg CCX was unveiled in the 2006 Geneva Motor Show. According to records, it has a speed of over 245 miles per hour .The CCX has an eco-friendly version called CCXR which run over biofuel. The car’s body is made of pre-impregnated carbon and Kevlar.







8. Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren

Jointly developed by Mercedez-Benz and McLaren, the Mercedz-Benz SLR McLaren is base priced at $450,000 which is the ninth most expensive street-legal car in the year 2008. SLR stands for "Sport, Leicht, Rennsport" (sport, light, racing). The SLR features active aerodynamics and runs at 206 miles per hour.









9. Rolls- Royce Phantom

Starting from 1925, the Rolls Royce Phantom has nine versions over the years, the current of which is the Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe which debuted in 2008 at the Geneva International Auto Show on March 2008. It was featured in the Rowan Atkinson starrer “Johnny English Reborn” with 9.0-litre V16 engine found in the Rolls-Royce 100EX concept car, a voice recognition drive system and a laser system projected from the Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament.






10. Lexus 2011 LFA

Having a base price of $375,000, the Lexus 2011 LFA went into production in late 2010 with a projected run of 500 vehicles. It features a new V10 engine and a carbon fiber-reinforced polymer. It is a two-seater exotic sports coupe and was awarded by Top Gear in September 2010 as one of the greatest supercars of the year.
